Baseball- Hitter

Greater Allegheny senior infielder Adam Wehr has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a hitter.  Wehr hit .500 (10-20) with three doubles and nine RBI's.  He also clubbed three home runs and scored six runs.

Joshua Longsderff

Penn College

Senior, INF/P

Columbia, PA

Penn College senior pitcher Joshua Longsderff has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a pitcher.  Longsderff picked up two wins on the week, including a complete game shutout against York.  He allowed just three hits, struck out 10, and did not walk a batter through his seven total innings.

Softball- Hitter

Shippensburg, PA

Mont Alto freshman catcher Brooke Porter has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for softball as a hitter.  Porter hit an impressive .750 (12-16) with three doubles, one triple, and one home run.  She also drove in seven runs, while scoring nine herself.  Porter was named the USCAA Softball Player of the Week as a hitter, as well.

Sarah Bortner

Mont Alto freshman pitcher Sarah Bortner has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for softball as a pitcher.  Bortner went 3-1 on the week with four complete games, allowing just 10 hits and four runs through 28 innings of work.  She struck out 44, while walking just seven.  Bortner was also named this week's USCAA Softball Player of the Week as a pitcher.
