Baseball- Hitter

Brandywine junior first baseman Gabe Encarnacion has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a hitter.  Encarnacion hit .542 (13-24) through seven games, with four doubles and eight RBI.  He also scored seven runs and stole seven bases.  Encarnacion was named the USCAA Player of the Week as a hitter.

Matthew Trotta

Brandywine senior pitcher Matthew Trotta has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a pitcher.  Trotta went 1-0 on the week with a complete game in his lone start.  He scattered eight hits, surrendered just one run, and struck out two. 

 

Softball- Hitter

Kasey Dansak

McKeesport, PA

Greater Allegheny freshman Kasey Dansak has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for softball as a hitter.  Dansak hit .800 (8-10) on the week, while clubbing two home runs.  She recorded 10 RBI, had one double and scored seven runs.

 

Softball- Pitcher

Arika Stopper

Penn College

Williamsport, PA

Penn College freshman pitcher Arika Stopper has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for softball as a pitcher.  In three starts, she recorded three complete games and logged 18 innings over four total appearances.  She allowed just two earned runs on 11 hits, while striking out 28.  Stopper was named the USCAA Player of the Week as a pitcher.
