Central Penn Over Wildcats 99-82

 

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Sophomore Jason Greenfield (Wellsboro) scored 23 points but it wasn't enough as the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's basketball team lost 99-82 to Central Penn College Monday. "They pressed us all game," said head coach Chris Lemasters. "We had too many turnovers that turned into points for them." The loss drops the team to 1-4 overall.

 

The Wildcats were down 51-48 at half when out of the break Central Penn went on a run to build a 25 point lead. In the closing minutes of the game, the Wildcats went on a 15 point run to bring it to within ten, just running out of time for a comeback.

 

Also for Penn College, sophomore Scott Fenton (Dickson City) had 17 points and sophomore Jesse Newman (Waterfall) had 13.

 

Next up, the Wildcats Penn State Hazleton in its conference opener on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 8 p.m.
