Roaring Lions Win Second Straight, Defeating Schuylkill 77-55

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. – Dierre Jenkins (Uniontown, Pa.) drilled a pair of three-pointers in the first minute and a half of the game to get the Roaring Lions started on a 77-55 win over Penn State Schuylkill in PSUAC action Dec. 8 in the Lions' Den.

Fayette (3-6, 2-1) led by 10 at the half and outscored Schuylkill 40-28 in the second half to capture its second consecutive victory.

Brandon Cunningham (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif) led the Roaring Lions with 21 points. David Winns (Washington, D.C.) and Ryan Hart (Pittsburgh, Pa.) each notched double-doubles with Winns scoring 14 with 12 rebounds and Hart grabbing 10 boards to go along with his 13 points.

James Pratt (Uniontown, Pa.) added 14 points and 6 steals.

For Schuylkill, Patrick Killian led all scorers with 23 points and Collin Nurse added 12 as a tight Roaring Lions' defense forced 20 turnovers to take command of the game.

Next up for the Roaring Lions is a trip to Penn State New Kensington on Dec. 11.
