As the end of the winter sports season draws near, eight student-athletes from Penn State Beaver are named to the PSUAC All-Conference teams.

In women's basketball, senior, Brittany Tomaselli (East Liverpool, OH/East Liverpool) and freshman, Morgan Kurtz (Washington, PA/Trinity) were both named PSUAC All-Conference Honorable Mention. The Lady Lions, still celebrating their PSUAC Championship, look to continue their success on the court as they prepare to travel to Penn State Fayette for the USCAA National Tournament which will take place from February 26th to March 3rd.

In men's basketball, junior Chris Weathers (New Brighton, PA/New Brighton) received PSUAC All-Conference Honorable Mention. This was a huge accomplishment for Weathers as he sat out the first half of the season due to injury. In just 15 games this season he averaged 12 points per game, 4 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists per game. Also receiving honors were junior, Nick Miller (Beaver Falls, PA/Beaver Falls) and freshman, Rob Agurs (Pittsburgh, PA/Penn Hills) who were both named PSUAC 1st Team All-Conference. On the year Miller averaged over 19 points per game while adding 4 rebounds and 4 assists per game. Agurs, who was also named PSUAC Player of the Year, averaged over 22 points per game while adding over 7 rebounds per game and nearly 3 assists per game. Despite falling short in the PSUAC Championship game, the Lions look to regroup and enter the USCAA National Tournament with a new fire lead by their head coach Marcess Williams who was named PSUAC Men's Basketball Co-Coach of the Year.

In just their second season of competition in the PSUAC, the wrestling team also names three student-athletes to the PSUAC All-Conference teams. Junior, Dylan Winkle (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) and freshman, Ben Barcasky (Moon Township, PA/Moon) both were named PSUAC All-Conference Honorable Mention. In just his first year as a wrestler, freshman, DeVante Philip (Waldorf, MD/Thomas Stone) was named PSUAC 2nd Team All-Conference in the 235 weight class after finishing 3rd overall in the PSUAC/USCAA Tournament in University Park this past weekend.
