Schuylkill, PA---- The Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer team opened up their PSUAC conference season in a big way, defeating Penn State Schuylkill by a score of 10-1. Tyler Blake (Crescent, Moon) led Beaver by scoring 6 times and Mike Biskup (Aliquippa, Center) had a goal an added 4 assists. Tim Smith (Pittsburgh, Langley) had 3 assists while Brad Prosper (Aliquippa, Central Valley) had a goal and an assist. Juan Castano (Coraopolis, Moon) also scored for Beaver and added two assists and Youseff Helal (Cairo, Choueifat-Egypt) also found the back on the net for Beaver.
This was an impressive start for Beaver as they got their conference season underway and they now sit at 1-0 in conference play and 1-4 overall. They will be back in action on Monday as they travel to Pitt Greensburg with the game scheduled to start at 4.
