Rachel Lojas is this week’s PSUAC Softball Player of the Week.  Lojas is a freshman, catcher at Penn State New Kensington.  She went 8 for 15 this past week in four PSUAC games, averaging .533.  Lojas was 4 for 8 in two games against Penn College with one double, one homerun, two RBIs and three runs.  In two games against Penn State Beaver, Lojas was 4 for 7 with one triple, four runs and two RBIs.  She had an on base percentage of .563.  Lojas hit the game winning RBI single in the second game against Beaver in the eighth inning.  She scored seven of New Kensington’s 21 runs.
