Tarra Oravec is this week’s PSUAC Pitcher of the Week.  Oravec is a junior, pitcher at Penn State New Kensington. During this past week, Oravec was a key player in New Kensington’s wins.  She pitched in three different games.  Oravec started two games and came in for relief in another.  She finished with a record of 2-1, allowing only two earned runs in 18.1 innings.  She struck out 20 batters and only walked six.  She gave up 10 hits and had an ERA of 0.76.  Eleven of her strikeouts were in one game.
