Beaver improves to 4-0 in conference

Monaca, PA---- The Lady Lions of Penn State Beaver defeated PSU Schuylkill by a score of 72-32 on Friday night to improve to 4-0 in the PSUAC. Beaver controlled the game throughout, leading 40-18 at the half and outrebounded Schuylkill 53-26 in the win.

Amanda Temple (Avella, Avella) was the leading scorer for Beaver, scoring 13 points while also adding 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Brooke Mulneix (Beaver Falls, Riverside) scored 11 and had 5 rebounds while Morgan Kurtz (Washington, Trinity) added 9 points. Both Cassandra Flowers (Pittsburgh, Westinghouse) and Katie Dennis (Hookstown, South Side) added 8 points and Flowers finished with 8 rebounds and Dennis had 6 rebounds. Brittany Tomaselli (East Liverpool, East Liverpool) dished out 8 assists and Jocelyn Warfield (Monaca, Central Valley) had 6 rebounds.

Beaver is now 7-2 overall and 4-0 in the PSUAC conference and will play again on Saturday as they host Penn College at 1pm.
