Michael Pavasko, a freshman,  had an outstanding weekend at the Waynesburg Invitational where he finished 1st place in his weight class, 165. With a 3-1 decision over Ohio Valley's Tyler George, he sealed the tournament title. Pavasko becomes the first wrestler in Greater Allegheny's history to finish first in such an event.
