Penn State DuBois drops season opener on the road

Penn State DuBois Volleyball lose season opener on the road to Westmoreland County Community College 0-3 Tuesday evening in Youngwood, PA.   While PSU DuBois was playing their first game of the season, Westmoreland CCC was playing their 5th match, and the game experience showed in the early going as Westmoreland won the first game 25-2.  Penn State battled back to play much stronger in the final two games losing by the scores of 25-13 and 25-11.

The DuBois team was playign without any subs on Tuesday evening, Coach Kennis was optimistic with the amount of talent on the young team.  Practice and playing together will provide some consistency in their play.  DuBois is looking to add one or two more players to their rotation in the following days.

First home game is set for Thursday, September 13th at 7pm when the lady lions host Mercyhurst Northeast Lakers.
