Team of the Week 20

Penn State Lehigh Valley Men's Basketball

Penn State Mont Alto's women's basketball team has won four straight, including two games this past week, to put them squarely in the playoff race. Mont Alto claimed wins over Fayette and DuBois to jump to third in the PSUAC West Division standings at 8-4. The team has been solid from the field, shooting over 50 percent on Tuesday and then an incredible 68 percent from three-point range in Saturday's win during their campus' 3's for THON event.

Men's Basketball Player of the Week 10

Jaiquil Johnson, Penn State DuBois

Penn State DuBois had an impressive week, knocking off Penn State Fayette before taking down the PSUAC's top team in Penn State Greater Allegheny. Jaiquil Johnson was a big reason for that, averaging 31.5 points per game and dishing out three assists per contest. Johnson scored 36 against Fayette in a win before dropping 27 on Greater Allegheny. He shot better than 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from behind the arc during hte week. Perhaps most instrumental was his 21 free throw attempts as he attacked the rim to create opportunities for his team.

Women's Basketball Player of the Week 10

Amanda Floyd, Penn State Brandywine

Amanda Floyd led Penn State Brandywine to two wins this past week, averaging 20.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.
