Middle hitter Sydney Ward had a dominant game to lead her team to a PSUAC Quarterfinal sweep of Penn State Dubois. Ward notched 15 kills on only 24 total attacks (.583 hitting percentage). She made only one error and gave Dubois no chance to pull the upset.

Volleyball Specialist of the Week 8

Ashlyn Vandenbree, Penn State Mont Alto

Ashlyn Vandenbree eclipsed 1,000 career digs in Penn State Mont Alto’s match against Penn State Hazleton to help her team advance to the PSUAC Volleyball semifinals.  In Mont Alto’s two matches during the week, Vandenbree recorded 30 digs, leading her squad to a 2-0 record on the week.
