Hazleton junior Aaron Glass has been named this week's PSUAC Student-Athlete of the Week for baseball as a hitter. The catcher went 2-for-4 combined in the double-header sweep over Summit University on Tuesday with a run batted in alongside a run scored.
The junior followed that performance up by going 5-of-7 against the University of Valley Forge on Thursday. In that series, Glass collected five runs batted in, three runs scored and three stolen bases, leading Hazleton to their third and fourth straight victory.
Through the week, the Lion denoted a .636 batting average with a total of four runs, seven hits and six RBIs.
The defenseman contributed in 24 putouts behind the dish.
Aaron currently retains first place in the PSUAC and second in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association for an overall batting average of .692.
