PSUAC Announces 2025 Men's & Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State University Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Men's and Women's soccer All-Conference teams on Friday, recognizing more than 80 student-athletes and coaches for outstanding efforts on the pitch during the regular season. 

Penn State New Kensington's Jayson Ireland was named the PSUAC Men's Soccer Player of the Year after scoring 20 goals during the regular season. Ireland score four times against Penn State Schuylkill and recorded six braces (two goals in a game), including one in the quarterfinals of the PSUAC playoffs. His 50 points on the season were 11 more than his closest competitor.

Penn State Schuylkill's Olivia Dress followed up her Rookie of the Year award last season with this year's PSUAC Women's Soccer Player of the Year award. Dress finished the season tied for third in goals scored (9), second in assists (11) and second in points (29) as she helped her team finish a perfect 8-0 in conference play. Dress's scoring picked up late in the season, with five of her nine goals coming in her final three games.

Cameron Dillow was named the Women's Soccer PSUAC Rookie of the Year after an excellent campaign for Penn State Mont Alto. Dillow was first in points in the PSUAC with 33, including second in goals scored (10) and first in assists (13). She also led the league in shots with 62.

Penn State Lehigh Valley's Chase Nederostek and Penn State Beaver's Rodrigo Pedroza were named Men's Soccer Co-Rookies of the Year after outstanding performances in their first year. Nederostek was second in goals scored with 18 and Pedroza was right behind with 16 total goals. Nederostek recorded three hat tricks after October 11th to push his point total to 39, second only to Ireland. Pedroza also finished third in points at 34, including two hat tricks of his own.

Jack Cupitt, Nederostek's teammate at Lehigh Valley, was named the PSUAC Men's Soccer Defender of the Year. From the back line, Cupitt had seven total points and led the most stout defense in the PSUAC. Lehigh Valley surrendered just 12 goals all season and shutout seven opponents.

Schuylkill's Haley Sypniewski earned the PSUAC Women's Soccer Defender of the Year award, scoring four times but more importantly solidifying the Schuylkill defense that allowed just six goals in PSUAC play. Schuylkill recorded five shutouts, including half of their PSUAC contests.

New Kensington's Blair Gantz was named the Women's Soccer Coach of the Year after leading the second year program to a 4-4 PSUAC record and the three seed in the postseason. The second year program enjoyed some success in what was its first season in the PSUAC, recording three shutouts.

Penn State Greater Allegheny's Jason Broadwater and Lehigh Valley's Abe Mamari were named Men's Soccer Co-Coaches of the Year after leading their teams to two of the top three seeds in the PSUAC. Broadwater's squad captured the top overall seed, finishing the PSUAC slate 7-1. Greater Allegheny's only loss came to Mamari's Lehigh Valley squad, who finished the season 10-2-3 overall, including 5-1-2 in conference action.
