McKeesport, Pa- Junior forwards Aaron Byrd (Upper Malboro, MD/Dr. Henry A. Wise) and Nick Dizon (Rankin, PA/Woodland Hills) each scored in double-figures, on a night in which the Greater Allegheny (7-13, 4-9 PSUAC) men's basketball endured a 92-53 loss to visiting Penn State Fayette.
Byrd added seven rebounds and two blocks, while Dizon completed his double-double with 10 rebounds. Freshman guard Chris Dixon (Homestead, PA/Steel Valley) was also in double-digits in scoring for GA, with 10 points and seven rebounds. Greater Allegheny shot 32% (24-74) from the field, and earned a 49-44 advantage on the glass.
The Greater Allegheny men will hope to bounce back this Wednesday, January 30 as they travel to Malone for a 7:30, non-conference game.
