McKeesport, PA---- Penn State Beaver defeated PSU Greater Allegheny on Tuesday night by a score of 91-58 to finish the PSUAC regular season 16-1. Beaver got a big lead early in the contest, leading 50-30 at the half and was able to get the victory in their last conference game of the 2012-2013 season, improving their overall record to 19-5.
Beaver was led by Rob Agurs (Pittsburgh, Penn Hills) who finished with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Nick Miller (Beaver Falls, Beaver Falls) added 22 points and had 7 steals and Chris Weathers (New Brighton, New Brighton) finished with 12 points to give Beaver three scorers in double figures. Julian Taylor (Rochester, Rochester) scored 9 points and Pat Horton (Farrell, Farrell) added 7 points for Beaver in the win.
Beaver will play once more in the regular season when they travel to Geneva College on Monday with tip-off scheduled for 7:30pm.
