McKeesport, Pa- A jumper from junior forward Nick Dizon (Rankin, PA/Woodland Hills) with 6:46 to play in the first half cut the Penn State Du Bois lead to just 24-23, but a 15-2 run over the remaining minutes ultimately gave the visitors the advantage, as Greater Allegheny (7-17, 4-12 PSUAC) fell in their final home game, 90-64.
Sophomore forward Petrie Addison (Fort Myers, FL/Florida Christian) scored 24 points and had five rebounds before fouling-out, while junior forward Aaron Byrd (Upper Malboro, MD/Dr. Henry A. Wise) notched his fourth double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Dizon would also reach double-figures, netting 12 points.
The GA men will wrap up their season with a final PSUAC contest against Penn State Lehigh Valley. The February 9 tip is set for 7:30 PM.
