Men’s Soccer: Brennan Breaks School Record in 6-1 Win over PSU Hazleton

 

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Senior Christopher Brennan (New Hope) scored five goals breaking the Penn College single game scoring record and helping the Pennsylvania College of Technology men's soccer team defeat Penn State Hazleton 6-1 Tuesday. Freshman keeper Malcolm Kane (Ardsley) recorded the win with six saves in goal. With the victory, the Wildcats end the regular season 14-4 overall and 9-1 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference. 

 

In the game, Penn College outshot the Lions 41-11. Brennan opened the game with back-to-back goals in the 32nd and 41st. Assisting on the second goal was senior Anthony Saitie (Philadelphia).

 

Up 2-0 out of the break, sophomore Tarik LaRoche (Milton) scored in the in the 54th and then assisted two of Brennan's three goals in the half. Also assisting on a goal was sophomore Christian Dressler (McAlisterville).

 

Kyle Venditti scored the lone goal for Hazleton in the 78th.

 

Next up, Penn College will host a PSUAC playoff game to be determined.
