Down 17 points early in the game to Penn State Wilkes Barre, Brandywine's women's basketball team never wilted.
Jessica Gledhill (Cardinal O'Hara) canned a pair of late 3-pointers and Amanda Congialdi (Academy Park) finished the night with 21 points as Brandywine overcame that huge early deficit and knocked off Wilkes Barre, 76-64, in a PSUAC game Monday night.
Emily Lawry-Thompson (Pennwood) came up big for Brandywine by posting 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds to help the Lions overcome the 21-4 margin.
