Wrestling: Mont Alto Takes PSUAC Crown at USCAA Invitational
State College, Pa- Penn State Mont Alto captured the PSUAC wrestling team title with a total score of 97.5 yesterday afternoon at the USCAA Invitational held in Rec Hall.
The PSUAC had one individual champion in Mont Alto's Jimmy Hughes at 133 lbs, and five runner-ups: Andrew Mellot of Mont Alto in 141 lbs, Ryan Terwilliger of Du Bois in 174 lbs, Alex Warner of Mont Alto in 184 lbs, Tim Suydan of Du Bois in 235 lbs, and Nathan Spinetti of Fayette in 285 lbs.
PSUAC team champion Mont Alto finished fourth overall, behind Apprentice (188.5), Alfred State (146.5), and WVU Tech (122.0).
