Women’s Basketball Falls to Penn College

12/5/12 The Penn State Wilkes-Barre(3-6, 1-3 PSUAC) Women's Basketball team fell to Penn College, as they tried overcoming a 36-23 Penn College halftime lead to lose by a final score of 72-65. Three Mountain lion players played very impressive games for Wilkes-Barre with senior Katie Beach leading her team in scoring. She finished the game with 19 points along with 12 rebounds. Juniors Tiaira Brathwaite and Tiffany Denny-Rochester both contributed 18 points each. Brathwaite had a game-high 19 rebounds and Denny-Rochester also added 15 rebounds. Wilkes-Barre will be idle until Tuesday, December 11 when they continue their stint of road games at Penn State Hazelton. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
